I don't think that an admin should be able to both play the game and admin a session.

I agree, because most admins I've seen can't handle administrating and playing because their emotions bleed through the admin panels' shiny buttons.

However I like to think of myself as an exception to the rule, since I'm so concerned about people. That doesn't mean I'll start reviving everyone or giving people random powers whenever they get in trouble. Of course, this all sounds pretty darn arrogant so I can see why you guys might see this in a different way coming from your eyes.

I'm very lenient though. I don't tend to ban people, and I give people a lot of chances. I think these griefers are just a byproduct and the best way to deal with them is not to exclude them, but to give them something to do besides griefing.

Ooh! I just had an idea: a target range. ICly it would be used to train in melee or ranged (guns) combat, OOCly it would serve as an outlet for potential griefers.

Also, one thing that I have often ended up doing when I DO play, is routine maintainence: Starting the engine and meteor repairs.
