Another reason why Yalin shouldn't be a admin... He doesn't know a lot of the games features and starts yelling.

How to Bypass a ban:

1) Get a copy of FreeCap. Other proxy wrapper software can work.

2) Get a list of proxies. There are thousands on the internet, you don't need to pay for them either. Google for "raw proxy list" and you'll get a shitload of sites and relevant links.

3) Pick a proxy that works. You'll want a SOCKS 4 or SOCKS 5 proxy, with reasonable ping to your local connection.

4) Make a new BYOND key. Don't pick one related to your old key. You can use Mailinator to have the confirmation email sent.

5) Enter your proxy information into FreeCap. It's not worth the trouble to chain proxies for Goonstation, so limit the chain to only one proxy server at a time.

6) In FreeCap, go to File, select "New Application" and add BYOND.exe. Do this again for DreamSeeker.exe. Both need to be run through the wrapper for FreeCap to work right.

7) Start BYOND up through FreeCap. If you did everything right, it should say "Build Your Own Net Dream Via FreeCap"

CLEAR YOUR CACHE! Go to the File menu, select Preferences, select the Games tab, and push the "Clear Cache" button. Goonstation keeps a cookie about bans, by deleting your cache you delete that cookie. If you don't do this you'll just get your new key and your proxy banned.

9) Done.

(note: Not the quickest/easiest way)

Hey guys? I just came from the server. I was playing like normal, and ended up the AI. I was told I had malfunctioned, then I was banned for doing my job (IE; killing and trapping).

Magic is magic. It's an acceptable break from reality.

But magic doesn't blatantly violate laws of physics.

It's a feature that involves Genetics testing, if someone manages to obtain it, there's no reason it shouldn't be used.

Fire shield should be removed too since its creation of energy from nothing. Xray vision shouldn't work, since metal stops xrays for the most part. Not all of them, but enough that it wouldn't work that way.

It's becoming impossible to tell who's even telling the truth these days.  Ban issues are *ALWAYS* "he said she said" things.

And, EVERY SINGLE TIME, they always devolve into "You've been a constantly bad player!" "But I wasn't bad last session!" "Yes you were!" "No I wasn't!"

This is...tiring.
