It crashed.  I hope it wasn't my fault; I tried using the autolathe (just to see if it worked) just before the connection failed.

Nah the game always seems to go down whenever I get traitor as AI.  By the way, you were almost in for a fiery death via the engine when it went down.

So johbson you getting server up? you usually do when I get on....

Also ideas

Internal and Space Scanners

Internal- Locates people in the ship and shows their health and damages(syndicate card blocks person on scanner list.)

External space scanners- Can see events(plasma storm, Organic particals(blob),ion storm) coming to the station and predicts the approx time before it hits.

Power storage room
Basically a room filled with batteries that are default off that can be turned on later so it can store excess energy that the newer equipment requires.

yeah i think it should be harder to power up the ship too... maybe make some additional equipment that can only be turned on if more than standard power is generated? or turn off some of the existing stuff until more power is found... make it more challenging

It is my dream to recode this whole game in an easier to modify way.

It has had way too much feature creep since the original intentions.

I'm thinking that the Bay12 SS13 Dev team should consider adding a personal PDA system, that goes into a seperate new Wrist slot.

The Wrist-Pad Comm. Device.:

Allows you to send private messages to others onboard the station, set alarms, read the time, jot down personal notes (Useful for detective jobs). It could possibly replace pen and paper. IT also lets you call up a static/dynamic map (Dynamic'd be tricky) that shows where you are, and lets you set and mark notes and warnings about other points on the map in grid form. It could be removed with tools, since it is tightened to the wrist. With a combo like screwdriver, wrench crowbar, you could remove the wristpad. Although if you were checking their messages as the traitor, you'd have to ditch it or use it as your own soon afterward.

I mean, we're in the future, we shouldn't be using wood products for trivial things. :/

This may be very hard to code in some parts, but if pulled off, could have major gameplay implementation.

You can use the add memory command and the memory command to view notes.

For the meanwhile in terms of mapping though, there could be digital screens with updates and logs and such of the station. So if you missed the broadcast of Toxin outbreak, you could look it up on the nearest tele-screen, and prepare. It could be integrated into the AI alarm systems.


And about the 'add memory' tool, that's not all that good. I mean sure, YOU can remember things, but it's no help to detectives at crime scenes, or evidence. There's nothing to pick up on.

Also... Wrist-Pad coming with weak light feature? Lets you see an extra block around instead of the ultimate flashlight.
