yeah, the extinguisher is overpowered.

id say it cannea fit in anything but a backpack (possibly not even that!, possibly creating a smaller item (small extinguisher or some-such) to fill the original role, giving it half-1/4 the amount of water as a regular one, doing the same damage as possibly a wrench. this would fix a lot of problems.

Yeah, sounds like a good idea.

Done and done. No, not the small one. But the re-sizing, yes.
I've not done much these days, through. I have a horrible lack of sleep, and it stops me from thinking much.

Also, since power cells fit in FREAKING APCS, I've re-sized them too.

Monkey mode has caused severe problems in the past.  One of the updates appeared to have broken it.  I'm not sure if it was ever fixed, either. 

Also, you don't typically have much trouble with space in the old station, despite some of the cramped hallways.  Looks like it's using the old genetics system though, which you may want to change(I could give myself all powers using it without any trouble or radiation within 2-3 minutes).

Also, the old engine isn't easier to load, but it's a hell of a lot more efficient.  Power use itself is a lot more efficient on this station.  Also, hooray for the aux. engine.  It's that wierd looking generator east of main engineering.

Some of the old secret items appear to be there too.  South and east of the bridge is a small corridor with a releasing plasma tank and 3 clips of ammo for the revolver.  And though I can't tell fully, it looks like the hand-tele is still in the engine ignition chamber.  At least it looks like the hidden revolver was removed though, even though it was dangerous to get to, someone tended to be able to.

If it uses the old z-levels too, it's also possible to get to Command Central.  In traitor mode, this presents a dilemma for the crew.  The traitor can steal space gear or a pod and travel to CC with it and hijack the shuttle before it even arrives at the station.  Still it's pretty easy to see someone breaking into the EVA storage, so it's not the easiest thing to accomplish.

The old map might not be perfect, but it is fixable. How about we make up several maps, and use a rotation. That would be interesting. One round in a small, nearly tripping over each other map, the next on a massive, can't find anyone map.

For now, Monkey mode should be disabled from secret mode. It has serious problems with glitches, and I don't know if it can be fixed.

I played on Mald's server last night. They have a shotgun in the bar, loose.

You could also travel to the Prison Station, A teleporter satelite, A Medical Station(Had 2 cryo's, DNA machine, and many medical supplies), and another station that probably shouldn't be there(SWAT Base) due to severely overpowered items onboard.

I wonder why it is that large bombs are so laggy.  All the atmospheric changes?  All the fires?  Garbage collecting gone horribly wrong?  I don't see why it would act like that, though I can believe dwarf bombs crashing it if the explosions gets all the way to the edge of the map or something...
