anyone have any idea how badly the AI can mess the station up? people say its hard for the Ai to kill people but thats really not true.

The AI can do quite a numerous amunt of stuff. Namely, sucking the air out, locking people in, electrifiying doors, launching toxins researchers out of the mass driver in toxins, generally messing with vital stuff (CRYO COOLING TO THE MAX!), ejecting engines, shooting stuff with turrets...

It has no direct ways to kill anyone. In addition, all the direct methods are defeatable IF people stop panicking.

One sneaky thing is to do random things, trying to get someone to get you to state your laws. Then just make up an annoying one, tack it on the end, and have the captain come reset you. Set your guns to kill and bam, no more captain.

Yeh, thats a nice idea. But seriously, when you fill the entire courtroom with concentrated NO2 there really isnt anyway anyone can get past that. Opening all the external accesses, setting ALL THE SCRUBBERS IN THE STATION TO SIPHON (my favorite) and releasing massive amounts of plasma form the teleporter room and set a lockdown.....and my surefire win. the escape shuttle doors. people can hack them but they will be too confused to when they....dammit im gonna give away my secret...cant figure out why none of the wires are working because i disabled power to the door. i can keep them off the shuttle nearly indefinatly unless they know whats going on.


please unban me i want to play this....slurms server bans non-goons

1. you at least need a fire suit and a ramped up oxygen tank (release from 100 to around 1000 oxy) in order to survive in space

2. the escape shuttle airlocks block any entrance....you HAVE to go through them. unless you have a space suit and fly around to the other side.

Well, I just finished DLing a bunch of (horrible) games, so, I can start the server up now.

On that topic, can anyone recommend any HL2 modification that *don't* have to do with 'People With Guns Vs. Other Team of People with guns?"

Edit:Too bored to make a new topic 'bout a BYOND game idea, so I'll just post it here. It will be a senseless World Domination game, with many ways to do it. It requires role play, magma, magma, and magma. It also explains why all the silly quirks of Mad Scientists exist. I mean, anyone can control nuclear warheads and point them at every major city around the globe, but not everyone can destroy the world with something so tiny that they can't be seen by the naked eye. Oh yeah. You have to build a base. On an Island, because that's how Evil people roll. On that Island is a Volcano. Yay. Also, you're competing for world domination. Comment on it. Thankyou. Bye. Alright, seems to me that the whole idea of multiple Z-levels is bust. It would require a total re-vamp of the code, and wouldn't even be that cool. My 2 cents:

Instead of adding mudane things like multiple Z-levels, why don't we just add more content and maps? That way we aren't playing the exact same map over and over again, and we can even have *gasp* map votes! Also, I suggest that most of the work goes towards making escape pods implemented.

I still prefer the original map to the Goon one.  If it switched to that one every now and then, I'd be a *happy camper*.  And probably an Orz too.
