I'm having problems restarting it. It won't open/load the game. No idea whats going on, I blame the Public.exe file.

What does it say? It runs fine for me. Just copy what Daemon says.

EDIT: Or maybe you have problems restarting a world. Just quit Daemon entirely, using the green icon on the bottom-right, then start it up again.

Doesn't say anything, just freezes. Had to reset my PC, once already, because after so many tries, it just got more laggy and more laggy.

Er... I'm only a dabbling programmer, but maybe it's trying to run multiple instances of the same game?

Weird. It runs just fine on my comp. Let me re-upload it, and re-download it, and try again.

Also, try to load the older version to see if it works. Maybe BYOND is fucking up on your end.

Err, no, that's not what I had in mind. I just wanted a way to have station parts and/or shuttles not HAVE to be just above the Z-location were it appears.

Oh!  That makes a ton more sense, and it lets us conserve Z-levels potentially when we have a lot of different stuff.  Yeah, I see where you're going with that.  Although I also wanna point out that stacking Z-levels makes it easier for the mapper to grasp, and that multiple Z-levels shouldn't slow clients down at all.  But still.  Good point.  :D

Man... Z levels. Does the BYOND engine even support that?

EDIT: Well I suppose it does. I was taking a look at other games, and it seems that they had no problem implementing multiple Z levels. (IE: That one CLUE-like game)

I bet you had a DF-like idea in mind. And trust me, it IS possible. Try playing a game like Dungeon Master or Cow RP, both have multiple Z levels and DM atleast has consctruction very similar to DF (mine a stone and use to build a stone wall, cut a tree and you could use to build a wooden floor or wall or make a table or door in the carpenter's craftshop... etc...)

I wish it was possible to have such a multi-Z-level thing in SS13, but as was pointed out earlier, it probably requires a big rework of the codes...
