You were guilty of going ic in ooc, if I remember correctly, after accusing Robert Joven of being the traitor with only a cent com paper to support you.
It was only my second day playing the game and Well You don't remember correctly because I had asked a security officer to watch him and make sure he didn't do anything that would make him a traitor. Then you said that I had no reason to watch him or the target and said I was crazy, tazed me, put in cell, and banned.
We didn't have a problem with the whole accusation thing, it was just broadcasting a help message over ooc that was the problem.

One thing to remember in traitor: cent com can be wrong, they were right that time but your proof was a little lacking. The general rule of thumb is to not apply for captain untill you have more experience.

If someone is still planning to make the MS12, I think it would be better to start the game from (almost) scratch than to keep adding on the current one, because of how radically different MS12 will be from standard SS13. Also, if it is reworked from scratch, some other stuff that was asked for could be added, like: a need to eat and sleep, better NPCs, better item crafting system (so that we can, for example, craft stuff from the ore we mine), etc...

But I guess its also possible to just work with what is already there, also easier. Here are some suggestions for additions:
-A cleaner bot that moves in the halls cleaning bloodstains (too few people play as janitor...)
-laptops, with such uses as writting notes, connecting to a remote signaling device to detonate bombs, etc... (maybe more complex stuff, life progamable to make a bomb explode when a certain command is heard over radio) and it would need a power cell to function, similarly to APCs

All of those sound really annoying, TBH, Poltifar.  :)

I think eating and sleeping should be easy to put in. You just have to make a counter, like the CO2 overload one, for example, only much longer. And three/four icons for each, like, you are not hungry (blue), you are hungry, (yellow), you need food badly (red/yellow), you are starving (red), at which time a counter sets in, which makes you first fall uncounscious, then die shortly thereafter.
But I don't know how doctors are going to diagnose hunger. This sounds complex.

And you can do the same for sleeeping, only you just fall uncounscious, and your "sleep button" is welded on sleeping until you have recovered, or someone tries to wake you up for a while.

Mining could be easy to program in, but not very complex. You just make walls, and a pickaxe which can destroy them like a welder+wrench combo on normal walls. The "walls" would in fact multitudes of slightly differents walls made of ore and stuff, so you could mine ore out like you can dismantle walls for metal. It also allows for bombing the heck out of them.

For crafting, I guess we could use one of these autolathes, and upgrade them.

The bot and laptop sound boring, to be honest. Sure, the laptop could be useful and fun, but have you seen how it is a pain in the ass to use the normal ones? So, a portable one seems a little too hard.
However, we could get some random "generic computer consoles", which you could use for that. The AI could even use those to send messages to people without broadcasting them. And they would be accessible to everyone, but you could have an admin password, for example.

Ok, so forget the laptop. But the bot, I say we really need, boring or not, unless people plan to start playing janitor.

I could play Janitor. I always wanted to play it without being griefed or somesuch. Also, I heard it is the ultimate job for devious traitor traps being helpful to the crew!

On the topic of traitorness, I heard people didn't like that assassination objective. How about "Stop Mr.X from escaping the station."? That way, people who really needs to kill people badly can still kill one, while the more cunning people can frame someone, or trap them in.

We really need to make REAL multitools. So far the multitool does nothing but pulse wires.

We need a Swiss army multitool. I want a whole toolbox inside the fucker. Minus the signaler and fire extinguisher.

Of course no crowbar. That's too big to fit in there.

Or we could make two versions.

A pocket version with a pen, wrench, screwdriver and wirecutter. +Normal multitool functions of pulsing wires.

A toolbox version which contains an analyzer, pen, wrench, wirecutter, screwdriver, mini-crowbar (Good for opening APC interfaces for changing batteries, prying firelocks open and removing windows from frames. You still need a real crowbar to deconstruct Rwalls.) and normal multitool functions (Pulsing wires)

The pocket version can be carried in a pocket and is standard issue for all personnel.

They would work like this. You hold it in your active hand and click on it. Then a menu pops up for you to choose a tool. You choose one and it functions like the tool you chose.

This could take some coding work, but definitely worth it.

Until then, we should replace the signaler and fire extinguisher in toolboxes with a multitool and crowbar.

How about replacing one coil of wire in the electrical toolboxes with a multitool, instead of putting them in the normal ones?
However, we should keep the radio in the toolbox. Sure, they are redundant for using them to talk to people, but you can spy on them with the microphone! Besides, the radios are only in the toolboxes.

And the multitool with real tools is great, even if I saw them more like things to manipulate electronics. Remove the wrench from it, through, and maybe the pen. And don't make two sizes of them, only the pocket one. The toolbox one is redundant, since you can use a real toolbox for the same thing, you just have to stash a pocket one in there, tools, and a welder.

That's half the point. It's the future. Why not integrate stuff? All tools small enough should fit in a multi tool. A large one.

Besides. They don't both have to be called a multitool.

The pocket one can be called a Dwarven Army Knife.

Call that Dwarven Urist Knife and I'm set.

Or a Dwarven Urist Urist

Or a Dwarven Blade Urist

...

Well, the first one is enough

But this is an insurance scam! You don't assign high-tech stuff to insurance scammers.

OR DO YOU? *dundundun*

Ok, yeah. But I still think I'd prefer a more limited version.

We need a pocket "Basic repair" version.

Scredriver, wirecutters and pen. Plus wire pulsing.

This is pretty much a door hacker. Really.

But I still demand we ammend toolboxes to have crowbars and multitools.

We just need a portable welding tool (perhaps with fuels that only last one use?) and this SHALL BE GLORIOUS!
