Hey everyone- I just got over some horrific doctor-related incident (Involved eating like a bottle of stool softeners... thats all you need to know) and a small travel for my birthday, so the server went down without me finding out I guess.. (Was set to autostart if power went out, but DreamDaemon doesnt start hosting automatically).

My Lights-Out wasnt working so I couldnt administrate the server from where I was.

ALSO- to hopefully maybe fix the terrible lag everyone's getting, I will soon be moving to Linux for sure.

Servers up again.

Well the lag is partially also due to the code, but apparently a few peeps are on that task. Do we have any kind of co'ordination between the various contributors?

Nope. Everyone is working on the exact same thing, in different ways, and will be be copy pasted one line from each contributor at a time until we run out of lines. Its the EA way after all.

Current strategy is to start hosting old versions of the code one at a time, measuring lag and comparing it to the changelogs.

Also, west, don't bother changing OS, the lag is entirely in the code.  Older versions are practically lag-free, so it's definitely not you.

Tennessee Williams used to hold the cap of the eyedrop bottle in his mouth and leaned back while applying the eyedrops. One day, it fell in his throat, and he choked to death. Monkeys are a great way of determining that.  If you're willing to grief the monkey, then you're most likely someone who'd get banned pretty fast anyways (traitorship notwithstanding...)
