If you need in the engine, to stop a bomb or something, and there is an AFK engineer right next to you, (Who, ICly, is 'braindead') I would imagine they wouldn't mind if you swipe their ID.

True, there are always exceptions. But, in one round I had tourrets syndrome, and someone actually though I was afk, and tried to steal my ID, just because he heard there was trouble at atmos and wanted to see if he could help. He didnt even bother to ask if I wasnt braindead.

The next round, the guy had no reason(though I truely was afk), but I had a HoP ID, so only bad could come from that.

Funny thing is, I was being revived by a human too. Just as I was revived, I nommed him. Then the server crashed. D:

But yah,  laggy zombies are useless zombies...good job with the APC.

Also, to comment on turning the AI's turrents to lethal, you think zombies are humans that are now yellow. You strive not to harm humans. Ergo, dont set your turrets to lethal. You dont try to kill everyone with space fever, do ya? In zombie rounds, infected are not human.

How to borrow an ID from a gone player with at least a bit of RP:
"Hey, could I borrow your ID? It's an emergency!"

Give it at least 15 seconds.

Then take it with a promise to return it ASAP, and then *follow through* on your promise.


I haven't tried this in-game, but by actually speaking your intentions, giving time to respond, and then returning it after, you will have given admins a valid reason to consider it a reasonable course of action in those circumstances, rather than get annoyed at you for metagaming.

Incidentally, *aimed at other admins*, don't spawn multiple revolvers and not expect a dogooder to come flying in to rescue the person your executing with contraband items. You have lasers for a reason.

Incidentally, *aimed at other admins Orb*, don't spawn multiple revolvers toy guns and not expect a dogooder evil assitant to come flying breaking in to rescue the person crinimal your executing having a nice chat with with contraband items. You have lasers bombs for a reason.

Also, I didnt know I spawned multible revolvers. Probably accidently hit it twice. After finding out you had one, I assumed you spawned one.

Broose made this topic, Broose can change the poll, problem, Broose was banned. So no. We can ask Toady, but really, it would be easier to just make another thread, even though we would be losing a super-large one, we should let Toady work on his things, IE, DF, instead of asking him to change our first post/poll.
