And I'm not sure whether your lawyer is real or not (looks fake to me) but I'm sure BYOND is within the right to stop your servers if they feel threatened.

That TOS excerpt is concerning BYOND Memberships, which are the paid subscriptions, and it covers the blog sites they provide for you.

Gonna re-reference this excerpt concerning their actual stance on game content since you seemed to ignore it the first time Ostaf posted it.

Unfortunately, we don't have the manpower (or legal jurisdiction, in some cases) to deal with issues between users.

BYOND staff merely provide the tools to create and play games, and a website to display them on; the games themselves are created and run by users, for users. As such, we don't have any control over their content or management.

Guys, guys, does this really need to be discussed here?  Take it to BYOND itself, or through PMs or e-mail or something, it doesn't matter.  There's too much of a Goon vs. Bay12 vibe already, we really don't need to add to it here.

Honestly, even if they have explicit sexual imagery on their servers, it's hardly news.  Even our own server (and anything based off the goon code, actually, if not the original Exadv1 code itself) has what could call "pornographic" content, when you look at the nude sprites.

Fact is, their servers are their own, we have nothing to do with them, please keep it that way.

You could reference some US federal laws, that might strike a chord in the goons.  What does the FBI have to say about pornography on the internet? It has to be behind warnings.  Very clear warnings.

We don't want to steal players from Goonstation or any of that crap. We just want a simple RP within our own control.

Well IMO the number of players we currently have is more then enough
One of the good things about the bay12 server is that with the current amount of players, its common to be the traitor, or to get whatever job you would like.
With 16+ players it begins to become harder to get involved in the RP, not to mention harder to control griefers

Our server is going to shit. People grief and don't get banned, same people do stupid griefing shit every round.

Denholm for sure does it, he fucking griefs the shit out of everyone, even when he's not traitor/revo. He never gets banned though, i'm still waiting on that reply from Headswe. I'd say the goon server is better then our server right now, grief-wise.

Anyway, peace-out. I'm probably going to be playing on the goon servers from now on due to our retarded monkey apeshit attitude every goddamn round. Damnit, I thought our server was at least on par with theirs? I guess not.
