2.6k x 4 = 10.4k!

Also: I DEMAND A DINING ROOM! LEGENDARY! WITH ENGRAVED GREEN GLASS STATUES!

And more metal types!

And stone mechanisms!

And LEVERS!

Well some levers would be nice...

And the server has been restarted

I'm going to have to add in the bomb cut-off timer.
Also, I noticed that most of the time wasn't spent on calculating the bomb, it was on recalculating the power grid

Yes, since I put in a change that would sleep(1) after 40 links were calculated, so I assume that would slow it down. It was, long ago, able to turn the engine-flood crash into periodic and unbelievable lag with two or three players on at once. Then, I assume, the atmospherics change probably fixed it entirely.

So, in this case, the powernet bits would take longer, but do little work over a long time.

To fix that, find wherever it starts a powernet recalculation, and where it makes sense, spawn() first.

How big can a bomb be without the server crashing?

That was 4 2.3ks.

1 3k should be alright, maybe even 2...
or not.

I'm not really all that sure. I'd test it, but then the server would have to be reset again :D and again: :D

I'm only just now getting the hang of the mixing room, because I hate spending ten minutes standing around waiting for a bomb to heat up.  I doubt I'll go over 800 or so.

Also, does anyone know what the various mixtures do?  I'm guessing an oxygen-rich bomb will burn more, what will N20 do?

You can make a pure N20 bomb without heating it, and it'll release gas.

Well oxygen will make it burn more and you should also have 1/3 of the plasma bomb mixture oxygen so it would also work in areas with little or no oxygen.

You can also make N2O and CO2 bombs without heating them,CO2 will knock your character out but not kill him, i don't know what N2O does.

Enough of any gas can suffocate you I believe. Most gases other than plasma+oxygen are knockout gases I think.

Making a bomb is useful if you don't have internals, or don't want to look suspicous.

If you weld the bomb to explode, non plasma bombs don't do anything

If you don't weld the bomb, they release the gas. Also, the sparker goes off, setting off ambient plasma too. Personally, I think firebombs are much nicer then regular bombs, since the damage lasts much longer and is more dangerous.

You can also make an N20-thrower
