GOGOGOGOGOGO SERVER GO!!!!

In non retarded/anxious/happy talk, that means put the damn server up or I will sic my dogs on you.

EDIT: I just had an epic idea for mapping/code design while i was sitting on th- never mind.... anyway, we pretty much have a HUUUUGE station, cause if we ever get our code good enough goons will flock to our server. The station would have different sections, such as the medical, security, prison, engine, etc. You would have atmospherics on each section, or just put it in the middle. I will probably soon make a crude paint design of what it would sort of look like with the different sections. If I learn to map, I will probably make it just so if we get bored with the current station for a bit, we can switch the maps out and alternate. It will also make it easier for when we do (and we have occasionally) gotten about 15+ people on the server. The current map is (and was stated by the creator) only supposed to have about 8-10 people on it before it become crammed.

EDIT2: Have a small make up done, just have to figure out how to get it on the forums for tweaking by you guys.

EDIT3: After much failing at uploading, I have a small thing that has where stuff goes, it's really crude and not to scale at all, but you get the picture.

Was thinking bridge and right next to the doors themselves (again, you need a security/head/captain card to use it) as well as the A.I. can be controlled from the bridge (Need a cap/head card with access to A.I.). I was thinking later we could code in retractable bridges and replace the blast doors with them, but I don't even know if it is possible TO code it in.

The current Bay 12 map is laid out far better then the other one I've seen. I really like the starting area docking bay, for example. The Bridge was nice too. Not much chance to see the rest of the station yet, though.

A neat thing we could do would be to have the med-bay, genetics, and such seperated from the rest of the station, able to be ejected. That would be neat.

Someone should put together an Alien (as in the movie) scenario. Start with a facehugger, attacks a crewman. Crewman passes out, hugger dies. 10 minutes later, SPLORCH!! ;D

Well, I was thinking about making different sections that could be closed off, and having small medical/security areas in each section as well as a main section. That actually seems like a good idea, so back to the drawing board I go.

It does make sense. Especially on a space station, you want your testing labs, and med bay, somewhere far away from the rest of the base, you want to be able to lock it down (in the event of a quaranteen), have it run under it's own power (or at least have a back-up), and if worse come to worse, be able to launch that sucker into the nearest sun or sun-analogue.

Edit: Finally back on home internet. And still I sit adrift in an endless sea on GoonStations, for as far as the net can see. Why, oh why?

It strikes me a bit odd that the medbay is so... exposed.  Shouldn't it be more towards the center of the station?  I mean, if a meteor shower hits from that side it's destroyed pretty easily.
