How do you use a welder wrong? Turn it on, click rapidly on blob.

Blob is able to attack faster then. As I don't ever recall being attacked by it.

The blob is not easy to kill. Maybe if you find it right away and you have a welder in your hands, but as of no it's just too hard. The more it grows, the faster it grows. It's exponential, And once it breaks through walls it grows even faster.

EDIT: Yeh the server crashed.

To stop a blob from growing, you simply eliminate the gasses in its area. The blob sometimes even acomplishes that for you. Once the blob has no gasses, it cant grow, and its extremely easy to kill it then.

Added a new job and reworked a small part of the station as well as how the supply shuttle works.  We now have Supply Officers and dedicated supply shuttle computers instead of having those melded into the bridge-only communcations computer.  Also fixed bugs so the supply shuttle actually comes (and in one piece, too :-X), lights don't quite suck up so much power (900W per fixture is a tad much), and the blob is slightly easier to actually click on.

The blob gets *easier* as it grows.

Look at /datum/game_mode/blob/proc/life()

See that for loop?

That loop is causing 25 random blobs to act.

Better result: scale it by the number of blobs, linearily. Maybe 10+blobs/2?

Any time that you notice that the last few tiles are practically unkillable, that is why.

Alternatively, just loop through all blobs and have each act based on a random chance. Alter that chance to change the difficulty.

Has anyone looked into wizard modes inability to teleport the wizard from his start area?
