Station needs more, and more powerful, lights.
Specifically, arrival shuttle and engineering need more, as do the hallways. The station only sucks 30k, it used to suck down 50k.  This needs to be fixed.

Really, the engine we have can go up to 2 million.....Line every tile with lights and power still won't matter.

Went back and started making another station for the hell of it, I forgot just how much detail goes into the design of these things ;D

E: No relation at all to the current station; I'm just making it myself, for practice.

The arrival shuttle, chapel, and atmos hallway needs more light, also it effects your inventory when you open up backpacks and such.

As per request of Google, I am posting some of my work at drawing for him to help decide if I would be a slightly valued member of the dev group.




This is a small bit, most of it seems to have been corrupt from my last reformatt durring my upgrade of my system and hdd change.
The second and 4th are from what I have, my best works, the first to third were limited in colors to choose as I was drawing some sort of robots for a guy who wanted them to be of grey shading, the second was later edited by me to look like it does now, it looked more like the first before, the third was a head to a robot I never got to finishing or maybe it was a drone, I don't remember. The fourth was a ship I drew for a side scrolling shooter a friend was making in flash for a game designing class.

Goog: I think the layer at which the DAL library implements the lighting might be configurable.  Just food for thought.

Chapel - Arent religious places supposed to be semi-dark? I havent looked at it myself, but it shouldnt be lit up like the engine.

Arrival Shuttle - Yah, that would make sense, noobies got to know where to go. :P

Atmos Hallway - I agree, needs some lights on the bottum area, if your refering to the room.
