Whats the other station calling itself Baystation 12 ?
It claims to be hosted by Johbson, But is running really old code

EDIT: They've changed the name, but it still has the wrong host

I think the guy got the old leaked code. and i talked to him last night. he said was banned etc.

Well, if anyone wants to crash it, just cause the engine to leak into a large area, and the airflow issues, coupled with the wiring breaks from the leak, should bring it down... Or maybe it is an old enough version that that isn't a problem?

People stealing the code and claiming to be official is exactly why the code isn't just given out to anyone. The "official server" hosted by someone else with an altered admin list who gives BS12 a bad image...

Fortunately, with the map change, such false servers are evident from the start, but if the new map got out...

I built a pretty sick engine setup, screw those massively innefecient combustion chambers, im making 40kW on a four tile proto engine setup!

EDIT: heres a screenie




The release tube is taking all the gases other then oxygen and plasma, and venting it into space.


EDIT2: After about thirty minutes, i got up to 60kW.

EDIT3: Okay, so it started painfully slowly petering off after ages.

I suspect that oxygen and plasma were still passing the filter. Try orienting it so that it dictates what escapes rather than what is recycled.

That would take a while, so before i do, has this happened to filters before?

And if so, wouldnt the bad gasses just get through back into the turbine if i re-orientated it anyways?

I think I may use a modified version of that for my prototype. Similar to the old map, but better arranged. Empty shell except for the parts, might not even do a floor, cept for engine tiles.

BTW, "bad" gasses don't do anything past a certain point.

Bug:
Since a burning turf's .update_again is not set without external change, it won't properly deplete oxygen/plasma.

I reccomend the check for if (T.updatecell && T.update_again) in the processing loop to be set to if(T.updatecell && (T.update_again || T.<variable(s) to check if it is burning>))

The comment was directed at the programmers if they wre active at the time. Since they didn't respond, I'll fix it myself, I guess.

But how would I distribute the change?
