Finally got around to trying this.  I'm Muffles on the Flakstation 13 server.  I just disassembled a wall and I think I got sucked out into space.  If not, I at least lost consciousness.  The thing says I'm awake and I can hear people talking, but I can't see or move, or understand what they're saying.

Oh wait, I can see now, but I can't move and my health indicator is a skeleton.  I think I might be dead.  There were people in space suits walking around.

And yes, secrets are gay.  They were the only major problem with Parasite on Warcraft 3.

Hah, yeah, fun game besides- Well, ok, it had alot of problems, but it was still fun sometimes. I prefered 'Phase Killer,' not that any of you ever heard of it, I was the only one ever hosting it. 


EDIT- Oh, yeah, the server will be up soon. Also I have no idea how to code, so, I'll just wait for the other genius here to do stuff.

I was just murdered on the Flakstation server.  I was the chaplain and a meteor went through a window near my office.  A hole to the room with the window had been made somehow, and I was walking around inside(With an air tank).  I was talking to the guy, and suddenly out of nowhere he pushed me through the hole, into space(I think he pushed me, he walked up to me and I moved backwards).  I almost made it too, I landed on a little platform and almost got to the airlock when the cold got me.  Pretty cool game you got here.

Yeah the Admins really gotta learn to do their job and part of it is dealing with annoying people. I was almost banned (I left before that) just for not having a BYOND account by one Admin and for using "..." in OOC chat by another.

If it wasn't for the fact that no one really wants to be an admin then Id suggest that Space Station 13 should get itself some standards and codes of conduct.

The Admins are just BARELY better then the griefers or in another sense they are even worse.

Its not that simple. Lets consider it like this: Don't forget that the admins are themselves playing the game, and thus have a hard time keeping up with both the game AND the complaints. Furthermore, whenever someone complains to them about someone else griefing, they have the choice to either a) outright ban the guy that is SUPPOSEDLY griefing, b) ban the guy that told them that the other guy is griefing, c) investigate into the matter to find out the truth. option C would mean that, on a public server, admins would have NO TIME WHATSOEVER TO PLAY THE GAME. They would constantly be running around checking who griefed who and who lied etc. Honestly, who would want to spend their supposed gamming time doing that? That's why most admins just choose option A or B, and are considered 'Badmins'.

Its not a simple matter to fix, really. Its either the admins get bored to death because of the numerous idiots, or the admins have some fun while all the others suffer. Of course, this only applies on public servers, not private ones where all the people are trusted and known persons. That's why I don't like the idea of public Bay12 servers too much.

True it is like trying to fix a dam after there is a big hole in it. Even the Rescue Heros couldn't fix it.
