And? That does not change the laws of the universe. Absolute Zero is the lowest possible temperature because it had no energy. None. You cannot have temperatures lower than absolute zero, because you cannot have less of something than nothing.

Well, that is possible, the thing is, negative temperatures are actually hotter than absolute Zero. They are even hotter than an Infinite amount of degrees. They are impossible to reach by adding kinetic energy, though they could possible be reached by Nuclear spins, as well as some Lasering systems.

Well, in the real life universe, is temperature a signed or unsigned value?

If it is unsigned, it would loop around to a few hundred degrees below MAX_TEMP, unless there are universal safeguards in place to prevent such occurances.

In SS13, they use the inferior "float" type, or maybe double, so it has access to negative temperatures, so it is up to the programmers. Probably would cause a heat bug(subtracting a negative adds a positive and such), or worked fine.

EDIT- No one joined so Im going to go play/host Gmod instead.
