Agreed. I'd have suggested to merge with him myself if it weren't for the admins.. well, and the superpower hype(I don't have anything against superpowers, but there are more important things, really).

I don't know what to say, myself. Of course, I'd love to have all the awesome code they have, but actually having fun, and being even able to play comes first before features. If that would in any way effect how I get to run the place, IE, we don't get to, I disagree with the idea.

Not because I wish to keep my great powers I have over the station, but because no one else will provide the perfect environment, that I would like to believe we try to sustain.

So. If this in no way effects how we get to run the server, I'm...Aware of the idea. However, I refuse to allow abusive admins ruin our server. There is a reason I don't play on the goon servers, you know. They have good code, and a decent map, nothing wrong with them besides the admins.

I'm not sure why he would even want to merge, we don't have that much special code. But, hey, whatever. I'd like to see what other people think. I did just wake up, I'm sure I said something stupid.

Oh, and I'm out of town again. I can get someone at home to bring the server up at around...4:30 PM, -8:00, but that's it for now.

Like I said, Android Data codebase is great, but if a merge will come with also an admin-list merging, it's a bad idea.

Just go through his admin-list and delete admins that you find offensive. If he wants a merge that bad he will agree to delete admins.

I would say that a complete merge wouldn't work, as the two codebases and admin-sets are incompatible.

However, sharing ideas and techniques would work better.


Regardless, and somewhat off the current topic, I finally started digging into the pipe code in-depth, and I may understand it enough to add suff in.

Man, I had just fortified Toxins too. CO2 in the first room, Plasma in the last, and all doors welded shut. A perfect trap. Unweld the last door and don't turn off your tool WHAM, flames everywhere. Even if you do turn off your torch, you have to siphon a full plasma can before you can weld.

Found a place for optimization.

Part of the main loop uses "?? in world" multiple times.
However, that means that it filters through everything in the world multiple times per update cycle.

I can possibly massively optimize that by moving such stuff to use lists created from the objects /New().
