So, there's another host out there, now. He's hosting our world, which I'm fine with, but he's using the same MoTD and he's calling his server the "Bay12 Games" server, exactly like ours. It could confuse people, as well as divided the player base, which is small enough as it is already. Not to mention the MoTD is old, configured to make it  sound like my own words, and wrong, as well, because he says he's going to have all the Bay12 players as admins..

His name is 'Nameless2' and he says he's been a lurker here for two years. Again, I don't care that he's hosting another server, but I'd wish him to change the MoTD and the server name, at least.

The chemsitry ones suck.  :P

Even with the right formulae, it takes ages, and you also have to screwdrive it too so it doesn't blow up in your hand because of stupid too short fuses. Not mentioning that it is too easy to dodge, and doesn't last.
If you're gonna go commando with a chemist, make choloroform and put it in the mop bucket of the janitor.  :D

Grenades are awesome.  You can cook them you know.  I use the numpad shortcuts, and 3 uses the item in your hand.  This will prime the grenade.  I then toss it with 1 second or less in time left.  It's pretty much impossible to dodge then.  Just be careful.  I'm pretty sure the incendiary is only a 2 seconds fuse.  Much more useful with a flashbang. (Just don't take yourself out)

Oh that reminds me.  There's a bug there.  A primed incendiary grenade that you stuff in your pocket doesn't go off.

It's like a cross between Team Fortress Classic and X-Com with that grenade behavior.

So tell me, if you keep a primed grenade in your pocket, what happens if you get taken to the brig and they decide to take your items off you?  Exploding security officer?  Maybe that needs fixed.

No, it was very helpful. Those little buggers are nice. Smoke grenades are really nice for sneaky shenanigans. I believe thermite is used by applying a large amount to a R wall then using the welder on said wall, but the bastards on the goon Sandbox server reset the world before I could try, then I was genetics and chemistry wouldn't let me work in there.

I'm going to risk a post about suggestions.

New Sectors
  • Bio Dome: A dome of glass that has a small park inside, with trees and alien/Earthly creatures inside. This could replace/work together with Atmospherics, and plants inside would exchange CO2 with Oxygen. There would also be valves to the outside of the dome, for refilling of oxy-tanks.
  • Alien Research: This room would start off with an alien from a random-pool of aliens each with special abilities. Researchers of said Sector would try to learn these with tools and use high-tech tools to find the more common traits, and use methods such as gassing to see what it breathes, etc. It could also be used so that DNA would be extracted and taken to Genetics for cloning.

Both are Major Changes, but they would be awesome if implemented. Right now it seems like SS13 is a soap drama than anything else.

Also, whatever happened to that Zombie gamemode?

Bio Dome is already being worked on as "Artificial Earth" I think.

There should be some kind of places you can go in space like a wrecked ship(instead of the other one with just dead bodies and a trap) or a large asteroid.
