im still doing my map, but i need something answered, would anyone actually be bothered to travel from station to station?

i ask this as im hoping to have several small stations, possibly with a large hulk in the centre that could be brought online or something, it gives people stuff to do and that.

(note, the escape shuttle is aboard the hulk, you will spawn in several small "pods" around said hulk, having escaped from another Ship. there will be space suits in them so you can GET to the hulk)

additionally, is it possible to have moving items? what id really want is a pilotable craft that can be connected to the main thing. by an airbridge, or some sort of dock.

Player-pilotable crafts will be very hard to do at all, and anything you can do with them will be about on the same level as wearing a jetpack--only sits in your square, etc.

right, ill just do it as the small ship is JUST outside the entrance, there will be one space suit, that man will go into the ship and send the bridge over, and there we go!

(atmospherics will be just inside, but the whole place will need repairs.)

They are already in the game. Called Reon Pod and Escape Pod

They also are capable of utterly destroying the station as it stands. Very useful at that point.

I'm quite curious about the dwarf bombs, so that I can possibly patch them out...Could someone who understands them PM me?  (I understand that they're not possible on the Goonstation map, but might be possible on a new one, so.)

I'll tell you a bit about them.  There's actually something that most people seem to have forgotten about ever since the goons changed a few things.

I'll send a pm to Johbson too so he knows that the odd behavior is actually extremely malicious.

I second that. He shouldn't be let anywhere near buttons which can change something in the game. He is constantly teleporting, spawning things, changing variables and adding AI laws for his own amusement, despite being asked multiple times to stop.

Our admin corps is like a huge chunk of granite that must be turned into a beautiful statue.  We've started out with an awful lot of material, and now we have to violently hack off chunks of it to get close to where we want to be.  What remains, can be shaped.

I've seen a few other admins use teleport inappropriately. Once your dead, you should observe things as a ghost, not blow up the admin room, though admittedly it was funny to hear about that.

Yeah, I just don't think I should be an admin anymore. Dealing with griefers, trying NOT to press that REALLY SHINY button that spawns bombs is just not a responsibility I want to have, and dealing with Phobos, Polti, and Gan is just tiring. I don't want to be yelled at every time I teleport.

It was an interesting experiment with the whole admin thing, but honestly, I respect you for your position but would never trade for it in a million years, Johbson.

EDIT: I re-read my post and I believe some further things should come to light.

When I do try to ban griefers, or identify AFK people, there is a huge fuss about it even though the admins mentioned above cannot find anything wrong with it. Also, it seems Yanlin beats me to the ban or boot button every time. Reflex from banning so many people, I guess.

While I am threatened with banning and ridiculed at the most stringent use of admin powers, or hell, even not RP'ing properly, nobody seems to flinch when the same thing happens to me. (IE: Aven (Or maybe it was someone else) accidentally named their person 'Elf'. When I made fun and light of this in the toxins room, they tased me without warning, and told it as 'RP-ish'.) (I was teleported out into space and/or made to drop everything through use of badmin powers a total of 8 times, while I never used my admin powers directly against another individual EVER.)

Finally: I do not consider it a terrible, terrible thing when, feeling funny, don a wizard's hat and cape and recite lines from harry potter on the bridge. I do consider it a terrible, terrible thing when said person I tried to entertain teleports me into the dark reaches of space and strips me because they can.

I hope I have made my opinion clear.
