He has probably been editing it quite a bit, without commiting anything back.

What are the recipes for the chef? The goonstation wiki doesn't have them for this version.

There aren't any, yet.

Data has, interesting, theories on what makes games fun. Honestly, I'd like to see a game of his that he made by himself from scratch, but I doubt that would ever happen.

qwerty: yep.  All the "changes" people talk about don't seem to be in the main repo anytime I look.

Man, seriously, I finally caught up on all the Data drama. Our server is frigging awesome now, did we really abandon it in favor of another person's around the 300 pages mark? How could we abandon out budding new server? Or didn't we have one at all?

Good to know that we've sorted it out to the point of awesomeness.

Our code had the tendency to crash every hour, so you would very rarely have a complete round. Nameless2 gave us SS13DL, because Data's server was always empty, (No surprise) Data asked if he could be on the coding team, then it went sour quickly, with him admin abusing and refusing to acknowledge that he did not the run server, even if he coded and hosted it.

I still don't know what was crashing our old code, but I believe it was a map problem, once Trorbes made a new map, it never crashed that frequently again.

It probably *was* a map problem, a bad map can bring a server to its knees very quickly in this game.

Also, Data's had a TON of new features. Granted, they weren't strictly appropriate for the setting, but it did have a lot more then we had. I think at the point data came on, we had no clip, and some good admins. Which, at that point, was "better" then the goon admins, and only from the standpoint of where we stand now. So we tried to combine Data's code with our admins, and the result was, well pretty fun. Especially when it was just B12 admins on. He had a very nice admin panel, and the super powers, while horrifically unbalanced, were nifty. Some oversights, like the lack of admincommand logging, allowed certain bestmins to curtail even host abuse, and blame it on badmins. Then the bestmin muted Data's spriter, and things quickly crumbled/were already crumbling.

As for the map problem, ya it was wierd. I think there was probably excess wiring or something. That was always a major problem even after Qwerty? Googolplexed? rewrote the powernet code.
