If you want to demote to to "moderator", fine. I'm not the host, so its not my decision. But at least make sure the moderator can actually help moderate the server. Right now I've got nothin'. No banning, observing, toggle OOC or anything. The most I can do is spam people with PMs asking them to stop. So don't list me in the adminwho or anything until I can actually do anything.

I would love it if there was some kind of way I could play this alone and just dick around learning stuff like starting the engine, genetics etc.

Repeating the same message many times will NOT make you get unbanned, infact it could cause more problems.

A better recommendation would be to PM Dr. Johbson. He's cooler about that sort of thing, and may actually listen to you.

He's right. PM the problem to an admin, because if you repeatedly ask here we will do nothing.

Or at least I will do nothing. But I do nothing anyway because I'm balancing several things IRL and it's turning into a real clusterfuck.

No. I was typing to someone, then while I was typing it happened. I wasn't running away from someone then stopped to type.

Besides, it would still be nice to know when someone was typing so you wouldn't accidentally walk away when they were trying to say something to you.

In fact, I believe a common strategy for killing someone is to engage them in a conversation first so that their hands are focused on the letters and not the arrow keys, giving you time to bash them a couple times in the head with a toolbox to knock them unconscious. I've been suckerpunched like that a few times.

Try closing your eyes and not moving every time you talk to someone for a day, you will see how bad the idea is.
