The cheapest I can find. Lol, those things are like free gifts now, don't really see much point in picking.

I have a pair of external 2,5" hard disks. They are bigger than a usb pen, but they contain much more data and they are somewhat more reliable than flash drives. ( HDD still have much more expected lifetime than any flash drive. I hate things that ruins themselves after brief time. ).

I've had many USB sticks over the past six years, but the only one I haven't lost or broken is a six-year old 128mb stick that isn't even compatible with half the computers I encounter.
I just can't lose it. It is cursed.

Yeah...I have a ~10y old HDD, which is still operating. I am not using it for anything of course, but I won't get rid of it. It's a legendary HDD afterall... :D

I've got quite a collection of removable storage. The next one I'd like to get, but is way out of my reach, is one of those humongous 100+ gig pen drives.

128MB Kingston something-or-other. Only size the school had.

256MB Lexar JumpDrive Pro. Some guy threw it in the trash. I grabbed it. Didn't work so I pried the case off. It turns out the case kept the two PCBs in the drive from contacting fully. Without the case, it works perfectly.

Targus SD/SDHC/MMC card reader with two 2GB microSD cards & adapters. These don't seem to work with my university's thin clients, so I've got to keep the previous two for these occasions.

1GB Creative Zen V. It was close to $100 when I first bought it. Its price was pretty much halved the next week.  :-\

Then there's the not-so-portable 320 & 500GB Western Digital external hard drives.

I have two Kingston 4GB datatravelers. One is a spare that I keep around.

I have a 2GB mp3 player. Stupid thing refuses to run even if the battery is only half dead.

I'm not opposed to paying more for decent tech. While it would be nice to have had that $50, I don't regret purchasing an mp3 player that I've never had any problems with over two years of heavy use.

16 GB Corsair... And I'm damn proud of it! :)

I move around a lot of info from work, home, college...

And... movies, soft, etc that I borrow from friends, family, etc...

Kingston pens suck now... they're generic pens with just "kingston" on them  :-\

EDIT: Oh!  and it has a special corsair "chain" and it can be bear water because of its gummy plastic surface.

Yeah Corsair is quite good actually, and it's cheap also.

Eh, I don't know. I remember when my friend's waterproof cellphone crapped out after spending like 10 minutes in a swimming pool.  ;D
