All for tonight. Incidentally, I'm in character. My character is a snooty bastard.
11th graniteI’ve been mainly trying some exploratory mining, getting the forges up and running, that sort of thing. Now, elves have arrived. I would normally be pissed at having to deal with these poncy bastards but they have wood, something we lack to a certain extent. Plus, I just sent Barbarossa out to deal with them. He reports that we have a crippling lack of trade items. Joshua, is this why you relinquish command to me? To force me to deal with this crap? Ah well, such is life. I have begun construction of obsidian crafts. Maybe that’ll help. I’ve been going through the files and have discovered that under occupation, a dwarf named Vilien put “being a rude dude”. Well, now he can be a rude dude in the military. Like we needed a weaver.
I keep hearing someone screaming about silk from inside the walls Josh was putting up. I forget what was behind there. Spooky. Anyway, made a new crafts shop, since the old one disappeared and put CJ1154 on crafting duty since Paranatural went walkabout. I can only assume he fell in the magma.
15th graniteFound some new dwarves for the military, Akroma, Okendo and Rysith. Keeping them in till they complain (authors note: in the forums). And Ravus, who volunteered. He must be brain dead. He is definitely in. I’m contemplating giving him a sword first.
Josh has left a million and one work orders. I understand the need for booze, Josh, but we need wood and for that we need to trade. Anyway, cancelled the orders and sent Barbarossa off to trade lest the Raptors Rape our Rectums, Whilst we’re not looking. None have turned up. Yet. But it’s only a matter of time.
Wow. Apparently, Barbarossa decided that the outside was risky enough to warrant accidentally (ha) stealing all of the elves stuff whilst they weren’t looking. Dumbasses. Barbarossa has balls. As a reward, he can update the stock records. Anyway, moving all the crap inside. I’m fortifying the defences so we can access the depot easily. We need a moat. Of magma.
Alright then.
