One of the compressed files on disk has errors in it. Restore from backup if you are able.

Same error. I'm beginning to think that raptors were never meant to be in Dwarf Fortress.

Chaoticjosh: Could you zip and upload your entire DF folder? That should deal will all of these issues.

Would it help more if it were put into a RAR archive? Cause I've been doing them with ZIP.

Also, do you want the ENTIRE folder, DF main program and all?

Quick question,

Villien? did the files work for a short while before degrading into the error? or did it simply fail as soon as you attempted to load the save?

They failed immediately as I loaded the area.

EDIT: It's working fine, I'll try to have an update up soon.

odd, mine failed after saving and attempting to re-load.

that was a horrible, horrible error, making me look like an idiot.                                                     although many people already consider me as such

wasted an entire week of game-time too. /sigh/

The other dwarves looked around the room nervously, waiting for another to speak up. None dared.


(Hmm, Vilien worships a female dwarf leader goddess. I wonder where she gets her inspiration from.)

"I'm going to start making some radical changes around here," she continued "But don't worry. It's for the good of the fortress."
