Citadel challenge
« on: May 11, 2009, 03:46:52 pm »

This is a relatively simple challenge. to make the most magnificent 1000 dwarf Fortress within one realtime month. Tweak may be used to give you infinity staring ponts, and up to 50 starting dwarves, but the only other utilies allowed are Foreman/Manager. Companion can only for altering moods and monitoring things. the size will be the entire 16x16 locale.

Have Fun!

this is not a challenge of playing skill, but rather a challenge of who has the best computer

1000 dwarves is not the problem

1000 dwarves within only one month however...

Can't we just make a stupidly high tower? Not kill our computers?

"SCOTTY INCREASE CPU CYCLES!"

"Nah Captain, I'm given her everything she can take."

"Just do it damnit!"

This is the thought of a 1,000 dwarf fortress brings to mind

i always wanted to take 5 or 6 simple computers and rig em together to act like one uber-'puter....maybe THAT would be enough for this beast of an idea?

If only DF was multi-threaded, that would actually work

Alternately: The Brick Testament. It's a really fun look at what the bible would look like if interpreted literally. With Legos.
Just so I remember
