I just started one and the random generator tossed up "Cavefortress." So. Um. Yeah. At least it's accurate..

'The Fingers of Pregnancy'... A mountain of 'good' affinity.

The nearby evil mountain called the 'The Axe of Rot' seemed so normal all the sudden.

Also had a randomly named dwarf adventurer called 'Sarvesh Armorowned' once. Thought, he must become a truely epic adventurer, but he got lynched by wolves after only a few squares of quick travel.

A child made an artifact crown with the hideous name: The Ripped Pregnancy.

In the same fortress, I had another artifact called Shakepears.

My best one is probably 'Bodicepeek'. My current fort is called attackpapers, which I also found quite amusing :P

Mine has the bestest mostest awesome name, "The Awe-Inspiring Syrups" Would that have anything to do with me being a Canadian who loves maple syrup?

I had one - the Granite Bodice.

Wonder if that's the dwarf equiv of being built like a brick house?

I got the random name of Basementfriends. I liked it so it's my standard name now. Abbeyroad was getting old.

Moonwound.

My goal for this fortress is clear - build a magma cannon and destroy the moon.

Old fort - Problemhammer.  Hammers were on my military, problem was the lack of water during the winter and a propensity for injured dwarves.  Oh, and the river full of carp.  Lost 6 dwarves to those carp... oh well, the water looked pretty after they died.

New fort - Boatdawn.  Out in the swamps, full of brooks.  May try to make some kind of floating fortress bit later.

My current fort is "Deeptower, The Lance of Doom."

As soon as I saw it I thought "Isengard!"    The tower was easy, but mining out all the pits has been hell at a pissy 8fps.

Gonna have to call my King "Saruman" when I finally bring him in.  ;D

I wonder if it's possible to mod in Ents?

Is this an obsidian shortsword I see before me?  Out, damned vomit!

Someone needs to make a Shakespeare-themed fortress.  I want Ophelia to hit a fey mood, and then in her resulting insanity, throw herself into the well.

"The Violent Whips"   Goblins tend to send quite a few lashers into battle...
