Thread about new text in 3.19

So these are my questions for Jon Fox, specifically some of the new text strings.

For instance, the new replacements for "That *is* disturbing!  What can I do?"

Obviously the O RLY YA RLY and "Oh my Science!" ones are references, but what does "Lawks" mean?

Is the "Oh my Science!" response dependent on any issues, which would make it "God" instead?

I dont believe so, but it should. That would make more sence.

Actually, I didn't write any of those, I just edited a few of them. The new date rejection text is also not mine. A few of the changes in the last version or two, including these, were contributed by Savanik on these forums. Well, I'm assuming it's the same Savanik as is on these forums. He hasn't been very attention-seeking, but we exchanged a number of emails and he helped with Linux compatibility as well a few months back.

"Oh my Science!" is static, and not issue-dependent.

"Lawks!" is apparently a very dated 18th century cockney variant of saying "Lord!" as an interjection of surprise. Nanny Ogg from Terry Pratchet's Discworld books uses the term. I'm not familiar with it, myself.
