What if they are raptor-ninja-pirate-robot-zombies? Mother of mercy, we'd have no chance

And what exactly is a zombie robot? A rusting heap of metal which walks around, infecting other machines? Should I worry about my laptop?

Seriously, just move to some hick state.

But yes, if they spread to Europe they are boned unless everybody moves up to Finland. Asia might have problems, but I would imagine they would be efficient at building contained cities and farms from the raptors. Africa and South America would both be rather screwed except for the people who live in mountains and deserts, as both are horrible conditions for large predatory reptiles.

Then North Korea will spread propaganda of their jesus-leader riding an army of the things.

I will willingly suggest the derailment of this thread if you can photoshop raptors into a Kim-Il-Sung propaganda poster.

Well, raptors have never actually lived at the same time as humans, so it's uncertain how they would behave. There's even a chance that they'd replace dogs as the vicious domestic animal of choice that people bond with.

You could ride them.

Akroma's right guys, all we'd need to do is set up a market for the undoubtably high value raptor skin/meat and then place no restrictions on hunting them.

The millions of greedy fuckers of the world will self-mobilize to hunt them down in the hopes of making a quick buck. They will be hunted to extinction like so many species before them.

MMMmmm... I'd like to wear a raptor skin coat while eating a freshly cooked raptor steak right about now.

Do raptors have a pack instinct not unlike dogs/wolves?  If so they could be tamed.

Mind you these are reptiles and not mammals, and thus lack many brain functions that would give them anything resembling a canine mind. Like empathy. And Love.

No offense to reptile owners, but they are heartless bastards.

No real difference in the zombie and raptor plan. I grab my bag and my .22, then proceed to the closet where I keep the heavy weaponry.

For heavy hitting, my dad kept an R700 in his closet:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I've got .357 magnum for it. In my father's words, it'd be overkill for a whitetail deer. I'd grab my weapons (the .22 would be for close defense, as the 700's a bolt), and get to the roof. If I had friends, I'd tell them to keep watch while I get stuff together for an extended stay. From the roof, I'd get in contact with the authorities (becuase I don't think that raptors would be able to do much against a decent miltary response). Then I'd snipe any bastards who got close to my house. The problem is that I only keep 11 shots for the 700 on hand right now, but once there were reports of zombies, commies, or raptors, stocking up on ammo would be one of my first priorities. I'd grab a 1911 too.

I'd be his carpenter. Think about it! On a glacier, you'd almost never have to do any jobs and would still be too useful to off! Plus, you carry an axe around everywhere
