Attempting a new weapon mod

I was just reading a thread about Legos that inspired me to make something.
An orange transperant chainsaw.
I'll let you guys know how that turns out

Make it be able to chop down trees... I forget which tag that is though.
Alternately, make it a [DIGGER] too, since the lego people used it to chainsaw through ice.

To be able to chop down trees it just needs to have its [SKILL:xxx] set to AXE. Also, you have multiple damage tags, if I remember correctly, tests have shown that having multiple damage tags means that only the last one is used, meaning you chainsaw will only deal slashing damage.

If I give it both the ability to dig and to chop down trees, will I face any problems? Will the game spit at me and call me bad names?

Dwarf Fortress has crafted a masterwork setback. All inconvenientness is of highest quality.
It is decorated with an image of Tradanbattlan looking for a [DIGGER] tag in cat leather.
Engraved on it is an image of [SKILL:MINING]

Well, it should cut trees now, but the people who want it to dig as well might be disappointed - I think that requires the skill to be MINING, but I wouldn't think that the game would be too happy about a tool that uses two skills.

EDIT:  After wandering the RAWs a bit more, I think I can make it a digger for you, too.  Go to the entity file for your civ (dwarves are in entity_default.txt), and add this line to the top:
