DEALERS STRIKE BACK!

It seems that war on drugs enters a new stage. In a recent crackdown the police has secured a large quantity of a narcotic previously unknown in the USA. This substance (which the dealers called "[pick_A]") had already been distributed in [city].

"I don't think I have ever seen a drug so dangerous", says Dr. [random_name], forensic chemist from Drug Enforcement Administration. "This substance is basically [pick_B], enriched with various chemicals to enhance its potency. It can [pick_C]!"

The police spokesman [random_name] has already announced further crackdowns. "With substances like [pick_A] it's important to act firmly. We can't and won't tolerate poisoning our young ones with deadly toxins to make money. Every drug dealer in [city] beware!". [He/she] also adviced parents to monitor their children closely to ensure they are not taking anything harmful.

A:
Shriek
Valkyr
Black Fairy
Pixie Dust
The Powder
Rainbow Pepper

B:
cannabis
hashish
LSD
heroin
cocain

C:
addict the user beyond recovery after even one dose
addict not only the user, but also people standing next to him
infect people with berserk rage and inhuman strength
turn people into avatars of the Satan

STUDENT CONVINCED!

[random_first_and_last_name], a college student from [city] has been found guilty after a long, controversial trial. [last_name] was arrested for possession of a small amount of marijuana. The district attorney filed a criminal case which was speedily brought to the court. The accused couldn't afford a lawyer, so he was given a free legal assistance by the state.

Unfortunately for [him/her], the jury found him guilty despite his defendant's efforts. He was sentenced to [pick_A]. This didn't seem to worry most of the jurors. As one of them said, "Drugs are drugs. And [pick_B]".

A: (depending from drug laws)
L+: compulsory counseling
L: a fine and compulsory counseling
M: two years in prison
C: five years in prison
C+: fifteen years in prison

We need the ability to use the stock market. Invest and shit.

That would be conservative as hell, though.

Yeah, some of this text does sound rather insulting. I don't know what it would do? Would it generate LCS missions or something?

Under L+ laws, why would drugs be illegal in the first place?

For the same reason that while drinking is legal in the US, you can't drink if you are, say, 6. I would expect a L+ society to have a minimum age by which it is okay for you to use a recreational drug.

L++ regimes would get rid of this minimum age requirement.
