Addendum:
After recruiting a member of the CCS and having him as a sleeper, the CCS hideout is still hidden.

I think that was always there, just an oversight. CCS members will only reveal the location of their hideout if you torture them first.

Thanks for the great update!

I've noticed that persuasion skill is no longer raised for meetings, only the initial Talking on site.  Bug or new feature to raise difficulty?

(Founder has 3.38/10, conducted about 15 meetings with no skill increase)

I believe it's always been that way.  Otherwise it would be a bigger grindfest then the bouncer.

I am hoping the new rampage rules will discourage excessive bouncer abuse. ;)

Is there any way to level up persuasion besides talking to people?

I don't know if you noticed, but I saw a bug I reported. Is that able to be fixed?

I'd have to check about leveling up persuasion. I don't remember where exactly it comes into play and when it's trained.

Regarding the bug, could you be more specific? I'm pretty sure I fixed the AM Radio and Cable News studios not showing up in those buildings.

I can confirm that the AM Radio mic missing on sleeper map bug has been fixed.

It would make sense to have persuasion not level up with the interviews, it was way too easy to exploit in the old version.  Same with how in the new version spraypaint only raises juice to 20, and how stealing doesn't raise juice past 20 (and I suspect doesn't raise juice at all).

The game is much more difficult, especially for players using brute force.  Thanks!

Advice to brute force players: Shut down the AM and Cable stations.  It's easier than ever, and allows the LCS newspaper to shine.  But, you're still gonna die before the first year is up, sorry!  ;D

How is the balance and gameplay on the new political violence system working out? I know it was busted horribly in the initial release, but hopefully fixed in 3.19.1 and 3.19.2. Since it's such a revision, I'm anxious to see what people think about it.

I'm pretty sure there was a change since the last version on persuasion.  You would get skill ups from successful Talking about issues on site that lead to meeting afterwards and then a skill up for each meeting that didn't end in "coming off as insane".  Now only the former gets a skill up.

Edit:  You seem to get a skill up for recruiting, but not for collecting cash.  But all the "definitely meet again tomorrow" no longer give skill ups.

I think that the media should ignore minor crimes when their unclaimed.

I got in a fight with a Teenager at a crackhouse and I made front page?  ???

Agreed, but -- front page? Did you kill the Teenager? (Even if you did, perhaps killing someone at the crack house shouldn't be enough.)

I didn't.

I punched him a few times, and ditched.

I can get away with one round of combat with crack house teenagers.

A second round usually gets me in the news.

Killing them always gets me in the news.
