I researched and couldnt find anything on this (but if I missed a thread, post it).

For as far as ive played, the list of units just keeps adding up on the deceased end. Everytime your hunter goes out and kills that deer, another "deceased deer" is added to the list. There should be a timer (like, every year?) that resets that count of deceased list. Or after a large siege...

A clearout deprives you of being able to count your kills through the life of a fort.

A refinement of the page - say, with subcategories for dwarves, foreigners, invaders, and animals - would be nice.

Agreed,

Perhaps just providing the number of said animal, but allow the individual counting of named animals.

Please for the love of Armok correct the title to "Deceased?"

I like the idea to have all deceased to be "moved" to a different page after a certain time.

One of the toads decided to go for a swim in the moat - presumably because he could path through the moat to my dwarves. He is not charging in, just loitering in the moat.

The toad is having a nice relaxing swim.
The goblin mounted on his back, however, is drowning.
