I say after we grab these fine freshmen we go for mission briefing,then armory to equip ourselves appropriately for the encounter.

Less-than-lethal weapons can be specified.

You can have a primary weapon of any of these classifications used in the US Army:
Light machine gun, submachine gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun, shield.
You can have a secondary weapon of any of these classifications used in the US Army:
Submachine gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun.
You can have any pistol used in the US Army.
You can have a special weapon of any of these classifications used in the US Army:
Sniper rifle, rocket launcher, FreeMount machine gun, extra gadget slot.
You can have any of the following gadgets (you can carry two different types or double of the same type):
Radar blocker, motion sensor, C4, proximity mine, frag grenade, incendiary grenade, smoke grenade, flashbang, turret kit.
You can have any of the following attachments on your primary weapon:
Laser sight, ACOG Scope, 6x scope, 12x scope, recoil-less stock, rifle scope, reflex scope, silencer (and additional attachment), no attachment.

I trust these FINE Gentlemen to pick the baddest weapons and gadgets on the block however.

Three suggestions.

Master Sergeant gets Light Machine Gun, and Sub Machine Gun. Lots of firepower and a high fire rate weapon for those in a pinch situations.
Our Sergeant First Class gets a Shield and a Shotgun. Lethal combatant in tight quarters.
And give our Corporal a Sniper Rifle and a Assault Rifle. Long to Mid Range, will just have to keep him out of the line of fire for the most part.

Switch Cap'n to a Sniper Rifle, and give him a shotgun. Keep the Desert Eagle with lazer sight.
Give both of the others Assault Rifles, and then Shotguns.

We have one devoted Close Range combatant, which WILL be useful. Shield and Shotgun kicks ass.

We have one guy with a MACHINE GUN.

Then we have our two Snipers, one of which can alternate to Close Range aswell, and one that can go to Mid Range.

And finally the two others who can go Mid Range to Close Range.

Obviously all Snipers will need scopes.

Radar blocker and motion sensor for the Sergeant first class. And switch the shotgun to a sub-machine gun with a silencer (and laser sight?). Stealth dude!
Give Master Seargent turret kits*2. Recoil-less stock for the MG and laser sights for the sub.
Give a smoke grenade and Prox mine to Corporal. Laser sight for the rifle.
