It puzzle/irks me that the name of the most independent news source in the arab world is being tossed around like it's a propaganda mill.

Well, that because it isn't a propaganda mill. But I couldn't think of any other news source that was seen as a propaganda mill at the time.

EDIT: Wait. While Al-Jazerra is a very independent news station, they do broadcast messages from...insurgent groups, which is exactly what the CCS would be doing in this instance, passing messages to fellow Conservatives by using an AM Radio talkshow host as an intermediary. In that case, I really don't know of any anolog.

Fox News?

I think we can trust them to keep us well informed on the conservative revolution.  They're doing pretty extensive coverage already and there isn't a revolution yet.
