Got it working, just curious about the METAL_PREF tag.

Giving it to a civ will automatically make them use Adamantine?  How do I know they won't go for steel or iron instead?  I assume if they have access to it, they'll be able to use it?

Giving a civ [METAL_PREF] will make them use the single best non DEEP metal they have access too.

Now, I added in a few types of differently colored Adamantine.

They won't show up in the stocks menu at all, but other than that they function perfectly.  They don't share a common name or MATGLOSS_STONE tag.

What could be causing that?

Actually, at this point, it's around 65th adamantine ore at this point.
