I am amazed

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
This is a pic of Sisimiut on a nice summer day. (Only a small part of the actual city is on the image.)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
So here's a map to show the size. (ok, it may not be 'city' size, but whatever..)
I dunno what year the map or pic is from, but 'd say its pretty recent. (within 5-10 years?)

HOLY CRAP YOU CAN FIT THAT MUCH INFORMATION ON YOUR TOWN MAP!?

Skyline of my town, including the tallest building in town. (FOUR FREAKIN' STORIES, MAN!)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Oh yeah, and my town has been Tree City U.S.A for many years. (eight? nine?)

HOLY CRAP FOUR STORIES!?

That looks like normal MD suburbs.

We know nothing of open fields.

HOLY CRAP NO OPEN FEILDS!?

Just for the record my world is smaaaaaaaaal.

Where were you in Vegas without AC?
The streets, (the tram wasn't done. Is it completed now?) and an RV park outside the vegas and the rv park behind.

Like an oven 24/7 in july.
Holy, crap, you could have died!
And we do have a monorail that runs down the strip.  Its completely useless because it doesn't go anywhere that residents want, and it doesn't extend to the airport, so tourists still have to take a cab.

Fargo, ND.

We're drier now, but everything is covered with dirt.

I have a cool print of North Dakota: Life in the Vast Lane somewhere . . .

Yeah, before I came to Canada, I had no idea it was possible to see the horizon on dry land. You guys living in the boonies sure have a lot of space.

I'm pretty sure the capital city of my country has a larger population than the whole of Alberta... and that's like... 1/1000th the size.

I think the Great plains should be renamed the Big Plains... they're not that great...

Anyways, 40 miles south of Canada is great for escaping the law...

Four stories? Like in da picture books?
Seriously, I live in a town of 3500. It's technically speaking not even a town. It is a "census-designated area." Not only that, there isn't an incorporated city in the damn county. Our two industries are livin' off the guvmint and logging. And the logging is at risk of dying out. And the people here, oddly, hate the guvmint. And there's a relatively high ratio of sex offenders (1 for 204). And I'm more of a city person anyway. It's tough.

Y'all have your pictures of skylines, well here's a picture of my whole godforsaken town. (Please note, this is not from an airplane but merely a nearby high spot. Okay, mountain, but still) By the by, this is not where I was raised, P-town (Petaluma) is awesome, this is merely the location of my educational rehab. Woohoo, I'm gettin' outta here in two weeks!

There is a town in that picture? I think I can make out a road along the middle. Anyway, seems like a great place to set up a crazy religious sect.

That's where Il Palazzo is from:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
It's a small-ish city in Poland, called "Nowa Sól", which would translate to "New Salt".
Unlike the picture suggests, there are actually some young people living here.

Israel.

I bet I'm the only one.

Ah, I see where all that monotheist hate is coming from. Lol, Israel has been the world center of all religious wars for like three millenniums.
