Hm ... if you can attack the soul .. does that mean you can posess and/or zombify my dorfs and turn them against me?

That would be awesome. A bit unbalanced perhaps but since I'm sure magical protection will come along it'll work out.

Great. Now those bloody arrows will pierce your lungs, heart AND soul simultaniously. It would be fun for souls to appear from corpses, like a goblin elven corpse now produces some bones and a skull, it should also produce a soul. This soul should behave like bar, that can be smelted and used to build stuff with. I'm looking forward to artifacts made solemnly from souls!

Awesome thought: Soul fortress, an above ground fortress made entirely out of souls, the military has weapons and armor made of soulsteel, so many possibilities...

The blood of the innocent makes a nice temporary substitute.

Everything that doesn't spawn from the deep pits of the world, pretty much.  *insert elf joke here*.

If he is innocent he cannot be punished ...

Then again by that definition no one can punish the child's father for throwing a tantrum and murdering the culprit, can they?

Wait. Is this the "Anarchy" thing I've heard about?

No, Anarchy is when no one, no where gets punished for anything because there is no governing body to do the punishing. In our system, demons are punished for killing many dwarves and humans, and given medals for killing elves

You're half right. Anarchy is the lack of a governing body. People may still be punished, but all punishment is carried out outside of any lawful body. Essentially trial by mob.
