I guess, but only if it doesn't get out of hand.

To be a responsible person you can't universally tolerate all belief. As there dangerous and harmful belief.

I know sorid and I could rattle off several dozen dangerous and possibly dangerous belief.

Tolerance of faith-based healing gets innocent children killed.  That's my big one.

Fortunately, in most places in the USA, the gov't doesn't recognize faith based healing at all--which means "I prayed for my kid!" is identical to "I didn't take my kid to the hospital!", and then they take your kids away.

Well there you go, where does tolerance end and self-defense begin? (or just generally defense of life, health, etc, of self or others)

Generally when the religion's mandates stop being personal rules for the follower's own conduct.

In the case of faith healing, the mandate of the religion is the personal rule that you don't take children to the hospital. That belief is dangerous. I would say it wrong to hold.

Generally when the religion's mandates stop being personal rules for the follower's own conduct.

But the follower's own conduct influences those around him. Taking a break to pray will disrupt the whole workplace if you happen to be working at, say, an assembly line. Anything involving teamwork, really. Anything where others depend on you doing your job.
And yeah, as Wiggles points out a rule that tells you how to behave towards other people is still a rule for your own personal conduct, even if it tells you to behave badly towards them.

Okay, that didn't come out the way I meant it.  But basically, yes, you are correct.

so does taking a break to take a crap.
people at assembly lines take breaks to take craps.
somehow though, assembly lines dont get disrupted.

just sayin.......

Well, a manned assembly lines I worked on, or in this case unloading lines, sorta require you to poo/pee before/after work and during any breaks for this very reason.

Again, reasonable accommodation is left vague on purpose. Presumably the praying person would also still be beheld to bodily functions, since you equate to bathroom breaks and praying breaks, then we can also say that someone poo and prays is taking more breaks then others. Being more disruptive to the the assembly line.

This reminds me of that religious guy with a dihariha praying to god to help him unleash these demons from his bowels.

A loud shitting explosion like sound was heard a bit later.

I worked at an assembly line where this happens. Nope, doesn't affect productivity or profit in the least. The praying people just work harder and faster or take shorter lunch breaks to make up for it.
