I'm probably a midrange geeknerd. My geekyness has subsided a bit the last few years though.

I have a degree in physics, and I program for a living. 3D simulators to be specific.
I know FORTRAN, and I have used it both professionally and on my spare time, AND I consider it superior to any other language for certain tasks.
Bad case of the socially awkwardness, although that's more from being very shy than very geeky. I do think computers are easier to interact with than people though.
I love scifi, especially the classic stuff. I managed to get through all 6 original Dune books without giving up, and I even have most of Frank's non-dune books in my bookshelf. I have sworn an oath never to read any of the bastardizations his son has "written".
I used to have almost as bad sleeping habits as toady, but having to work regular hours put an end to that.

I make and mod role playing games for fun. And trying to make it for profit.

I demand a link to your website!  ;D

Um... Yea so would I. Currently our goal is to get IP content that won't get us sued... Our last project was using StarWars Saga system for use in a fantasy setting, as we didn't like the pidgen holding of 4e. (though, I like 4e none the less. It a great introductory game for news person of the hobby)

I am going to be running one of our system, called Dungeon Dice, an original IP rp designed to be played spefically on a forum. Sometime on here. I can PM you when I get started. I'm still to terrible obsessed with DF.

BUt yea, we lack a functional website. Web design is a weak thing on our part. And living hundred something miles away from each other is straining to.

The world that I am working on is called Irph(c) a western theme sword and sorcery game. Um, think high noon showdown with banded mail dusters, sword drawn at the O K Corral. Picture coming soon. It uses very light steam punk elements, and I'm learning towards some sorta alchemical magic system where in the goal is to stay away from looking like Promtheses of WhiteWolf and Full Metal Alechemcy what ever the anime show it called. Picture forth coming.

28% scored higher (more nerdy),
1% scored the same, and
71% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

Mid-Level Nerd. Wow, it takes a lot of hard nerdy practice to reach this level.

Got this... what ever it means.

Edit: did the second one and this is the results. I have no idea what they mean. Other than "yeah i took this test. Go me"

For Science/Math:

64% scored higher,
4% scored the same, and
32% scored lower.
   For Computers/Technology:

80% scored higher,
3% scored the same, and
17% scored lower.
For Sci-Fi/Comic:

35% scored higher,
5% scored the same, and
60% scored lower.
   For History/Literature:

18% scored higher,
3% scored the same, and
79% scored lower.
For Dumb/Dork/Awkwardness:

35% scored higher,
12% scored the same, and
53% scored lower.

I still get a comparatively large amount of booty! Whoddathunk! Seriously, I'm stumped meself, everytime a girl thinks I'm one of the sporty cool types, and no way of rabbling will convince her that I'm actually a spotfaced geek, deep inside. I think it might be the alcohol and the hormones.

Dude, if you haven't noticed, geeks are the new jocks.

Heh, I scored higher than 91%, lower than 9% in that nerd test.
I got 95, A+

I'm somewhat insulted at their lack of "no, but I want to/will soon" answers to assembly.
Only somewhat because I will probably have forgotten about it by the time I do to any siginifcant(can write programs) way.

you will have to prove that.
Give the binary a mathematical and fun game, you are not allowed to simply copy paste a previous project, or use any external program, just the 1 key and the 0 key.  ;)

1 and 0?  Back in my day, we made do with 1 and the letter "o"!  And sometimes we didn't even have the 1's!  By golly, we appreciated what we could get!  Programed an entire transmission control protocol using nothing more then "o"'s a little thing we call elbow grease.

As a serious question, does anyone know if programing can even work that way?  The history introduction in a computer science class I took mentioned that programming hasn't involved on/off gates since the ENIAC days.

Also, Firefox considers 'programing' and 'programming' to both be correct spelling.
