With a Start, You Awaken! You Stand Up from your Prison Bed, Holding your head in your Hands. You Recover yourself and Note your Lack of Possessions. They Took Everything but the Clothes on your Back, though they Took your 'L. Hooded Jacket' as well.

You Examine your Prison Cell. You See that it is Plainly Furnished, with a Hard Prison Bed Beside You and a Toilet and Sink Opposite of You. There is No Other Opening in the Cell other than the Prison Cell Door, which is a Metal Cell Bar Door. No Amount of Physical Trauma will Open the Cell Door.

You Poke your Head Outside the Cell Door and Examine the Room. To the North You See a Double Set of Doors, (Tails) Through which You can Hear the Faint Sounds of Many People. To the East You See a Empty Prison Cell. To the South You can See a "Mall Guard" Slowly Walking Past the Prison Cells. He has a Holstered 'Pistol' and is Wearing 'Plain Guard Clothes'. Past the "Mall Guard", You See the Prison Corridor Turn to the East. (Heads) You Hear some Muffled Talking and Snoring Past the Bend.

You also See Two occupied Prison Cells. In the Left Prison Cell You can Hear a Human Snoring. In the Right Prison Cell You can See a Human Pressed Against his Cell Door, Motioning your Attention Towards Him. When he See's that You are Staring, he Presses his Finger to his Lips, then Nods to the Passing "Mall Guard".

You can See a Patrolling "Mall Guard" Slowly Walking Past the Prison Cells.

You Hear Many Things.

What do you do?

You Ask the "Mall Guard" for some Food and Water. He Just Laughs,
"Like your going to need food and water. Jessie would have already killed you outside yesterday, or left you where you fell for the night if the council hadn't ordered her to bring you in. Don't let the knowledge that Jessie's down that corridor shake you up a bit." he Tells You, Pointing to the Southern Corridor.

(Heads) However, You are Persistent and Convince him to get some Food and Water. The "Mall Guard" Leaves the Prison through the Northern Double Doors. As he Leaves, the Prisoner Motions your Attention.

"Well, looks like your in deep trouble friend. If I was you, I wouldn't be carrying my evidence of murder with me." he Tells You With a Smile.
You Ask him what he Wants, and he Replies.
"Why, I need someone to get me out of this prison cell before they decide that I'm not worth feeding anymore and kick my ass out onto the curb. I take it that you know what that means, else wise you would have used the smarter methods of traveling.".

He Continues,
"So, my offer is that I can get you a decent Defender when your called into the Council's Court. You might think that you don't need any help, but you do. Your going to need a lot of help if your going to try and convince people that your innocent of the charge of murdering the Sheriffs boyfriend who also happened to be one of the more popular figures in this Mall.". He Smiles at You as You Realize how Bad your Situation is.

"So, what do you say friend? We have a deal here?" he Asks You.

You See the Human Prisoner Waiting for your Reply.

(Heads) You Hear Faint Approaching Footsteps from the Northern Doors, Among the Sounds of Many People. You Hear the "Mall Guard" Walking Away Past the Double Doors. You Hear a Snoring Human Snoring in the Bottom Left Prison Cell.

What do you do?


OOC: Ok, the rules on healing. In order to heal you need a place to recuperate, like a room you imagine is safe or a bed. However, bonuses are applied by specific items and objects in your environment.

For example, your exploring a hospital and find a room that you can lock that is safe. It contains a med pack, row of beds and the bare floor. The med pack you find is ideal for healing infected wounds and sewing shut open bleeding wounds. It can also provide pain pills, which can help reduce the negative affects of too much pain from affecting certain actions.

Now you can't heal yourself completely with this med pack, though you need it to heal serious open wounds (otherwise they take a long time to heal). You'll need to rest to remove the more serious wound status (<Severely Cut Stitched Leg> reduced to <Painfully Cut Stitched Leg>). You can rest anywhere you want, so long as it is safe of enemies and you have secured your position. But resting in beds again gives you a added bonus, so that <Severely Cut Stitched Leg> is reduced to <Moderately Cut Stitched Leg>.

Now, a treat for you. Although I didn't mention any healing performed, I'll be nice and remove some of those hurts and pains.

"Excellent! I'll begin the necessary procedures to help you out of this predicament, friend." he Exclaims Excitedly. You Turn to your Bed when he Calls You Again,
"Oh, and one last thing friend. If you happen to get proven "innocent" by the Council, and you happen to not live up to your promise of helping old me - I'll make sure that you wished that that bitch Jessie had had her way with you." he Tells You in a Tone Dripping with Unfulfilled Menace.

Suddenly, You See a "Mall Guard" come Through the Northern Doors. He Approaches your Prison Cell. He Begins to Speak,
"Alright, your trial will begin tomorrow prisoner. You will be judged by the council to determine your involvement in the death or murder of Sam Tarlew. Just so you know what to expect, Sam was one of the few who led groups out into the City for fresh supplies, and as you no doubt experienced first-hand, was involved with the Sheriff herself. No pressure on yourself, murderer.".

He Leaves You, and Approaches the Human Prisoner. The Human Prisoner Begins to Speak with the "Mall Guard" About the Details of your Agreement with the Prisoner, which the "Mall Guard" is Taking Note of. When it is Done, the "Mall Guard" Nods to the Human Prisoner and Leaves the Prison through the Northern Doors.

You Take this Opportunity to Rest yourself and Massage your Bruises. Feeling Thirsty, You Take a Sip of Water. You Have Reduced the State of your Injuries, and are No Longer Thirsty. You are Still Hungry.

You See the Human Prisoner Disappear into his Prison Cell now that the Transaction is Done.

You Hear the Faint Noises of Many People Through the Northern Doors. You Hear the "Mall Guard" Walking Away Past the Double Doors. You Hear a Snoring Human Snoring in the Bottom Left Prison Cell.

What do you do?
