Butcharable tag for layers
« on: May 01, 2009, 11:21:26 am »

So when you butcher the creature it checks for the layer and gives a unit(depends on size of layer) of the material the layer is made of.

Not bad at all to me. Some form of this should certainly be implemented.

So, could this allow for creatures that only provide leather, and are inedible? Or animals that have no useful skin? Or varying qualities of meat, even? That would be pretty darn cool.

Amontillado!

I swear, Fortunato says "Amontillado!" 5 or so times in one part. Very funny.

My first thought upon seeing the title of this thread was that the suggestion was for butcherable geologic layers. As in, "You have struck meat!" and then have to call in a team of butchers to carve corridors and rooms and engrave the twitching, bleeding walls with images of elves being struck down. Maybe mine out the valuable veins of fat and bone while they're at it. :)

Your thinking of the giant turtles thread, that was awsome.

Sounds like a job for Torchwood.

That episode was awesome. I think both suggestions are cool, but the butcherable creature layers would probably be more likely to be implemented.

Dammit, that's one I haven't seen (I'm up to 'End of Days'), and so will have to wait to watch.  >:(

Soon, though.
