Minister of Foreign Affairs then. It'll be harder than Minister of Defence.

My advice to both of you: Never make an agreement with the other player.  Ever.

Tada.  You just won.

There's one, and only one way to win this game: Don't play. Now that that's out of the way I must say that my triumph over the hedonistic, capitalist Americans is inevitable. The didactic DEMANDS IT!

Save the trash talk for the Brinkmanship Challenges.

However, it seems this computer isn't letting me take screenshots. Hm.

Let's start then.

Lebanon: Insurgency forces take over President's residence.
Camerron: Small groups of citizens turn out for new President and wife.
Zaire: FNLC exultantly take control of Zairian government buildings.

Spheres of Influence:

Insurgencies:

No nation is at risk of a coup...yet.

Currently, the USA is funding a couple of insurgencies, while protecting friendly regimes with military aid, economic aid, and US troops. The USSR is also protecting friendly regimes with military aid, economic aid, and Russian troops, but it is not funding any insurgency. No superpower is attempting to destabilize other countries, which might explain why no nation is at risk of a coup.

EDIT=
And, just to make sure you know:

How is America doing in Africa and South America?

According to the sphere of influence map, not so well. The Western part of South America is pro-American, the Eastern part of South America is pro-Soviet. All of Africa is under the Soviet orbit, altough America does deploy some troops in areas such as Egypt.

One thing I forgot to mention, the Government Philosophy affect its relation to the US. A right-wing government is pro-US, a left-wing government is pro-Soviet. When a government is overthrown, the new government's philosophy shifts in the opposite direction of the government...so if a left-wing regime is overthrown, the new government will be right-wing, and hence will support America.

This may be why the US, in the begining of the game, is supporting regimes that, while anti-American, are at least right-wing, for fear that if they are overthrown, they would be replaced by a left-wing government who is even more anti-American. For example, America is aiding Argentia, which dislikes America and loves the Soviet Union, because America doesn't want the fascist Argentian government to be replaced by a left-wing government...

That being said, there are times when aiding rebels make the rebels more sympathetic to the superpower aiding them...

Ok. I recommend we fund anti-USSR activities in Argentina and Brazil.

Is there any way to run this epic game on Vista?

Right click on bop1990.exe and choose "RUN AS ADMINISTATOR".

Archangel, I am assuming you want to overthrow the governments of Argentia and Brazil via an insurgency rather than by starting a coup. I'll post the profiles of Argentia and Brazil later. Do you want to also send in American troops to fight on behalf of the rebels?

I can't play it still. I think I need a 64-bit version.  :(
