Will the creator of Infiniminer be ok with us modding this? Cause I'd be very happy to test this out.

Somebody did mod the game so TNT cannot be blown up in sandbox mode, and can be removed with the deconstruction tool. I'm sure we can get a decent mod with this.

I'm not terribly sure of the feasibility of setting new stone types, but I know that some modding to functionality to placeable tiles is possible.

I've tried joining the servers that are now appearing but I can't seem to for some odd reason, it just sticks around cave loading 00%

I think those are servers that are either full, full of lagging things are use something like Hamachi which somehow disallows others not on Hamachi from joining.

Still, there should still be plenty of sandboxes. I know for sure the no sapping sandbox(Most awesome mod ever) works without any special networking stuff.

It wouldn't work. Servers come and go hourly.

Running a CTF Match in v.1.5 Overnight.
Goal: Raid $3200 from Opponent's Vault, and return it to your base. Engineers must Deconstruct the Banks sealing the opponent's Vault to gain entrance.

Since I won't be there to moderate for most of the night, try not to cheat the system (stealing from your own Vault, destroying entryway forcefields to start in or return Gold to Opponent's Base, etc.) The game isn't foolproof yet, but I'd like to see how people like the gameplay. Also, I'd advise folks to sandbox it with base defense until a few players show up. If any team wins, the server ought to reset to a normal match.

Make sure to let me know if there are any problems with connectivity.

Just checked this out. The 4Chan influence is strong, but it is an excellent piece of modding. The fact that it has water flows as well as Lava is awesome, but when Lava and Water meet, they make Obsidian.

I need to snag whatever program this was made in, so I can see about making an Ore Cannon that could be used as a weapon. I have a feasible idea that would use existing mechanics too.

While I appreciate the tools made to make this game awesome, this opened up the possibility of griefers turning large chunks of the map into TNT, being invincible and being able to teleport anywhere.

If you can add the mod to make me invincible, I'll gladly take that.

Ah, this explains it.

Infiniminer is now open-source, hence the rash of fan-made mods for Infiniminer. We definitely need to get cracking on a dorfy one.

Oh, and also, there's a new title screen, which captures the essence of Infiniminer:

How about, instead of gold, you have children, and instead of people, you have goblin snatcher.
