Good 'ol steam.  Been waiting for steam updates for a good hour and a half now apparently decrypting.  This happened every time I pre-loaded a game, I dunno why I thought it would be different this time.

EDIT: 1 hour 53 minutes. Done.

anyone got good idea for boomervial? Best thing i can think of is throwing it on the tank. Otherwise it's just about as effective as a pipe bomb that doesn't explode.

Throw it on a witch when there's an npc tank around. In my case(expert) the witch won. After which she bolted without further fighting.

One thing i've been wondering, does it affect player infected? Make the victims show up as survivors or something?

The game is great, but I really hate the AI's fear of picking shit up. Seriously, the end of the first stage was much harder than it should have been. Damn fetch quests.

That happened to me. The only thing that solved it was uninstalling steam and reinstalling it. Sadly, that also took out all the games I'd downloaded, so I had to redownload them... D: But, now I don't have the shit ones, and started playing TF2, so it's all good I suppose...

From what I saw in VS it just gives them the usual boomed purple outline. Which I suppose could cause some minor confusion when it's hectic, but it's pretty easy to see the outline isn't a survivor usually.  And the special attacks the infected would use don't work on another infected anyway.

If an infected is hit with it they can't see auras just like the survivors when boomed and CI attack the target like always.  Against anything but a tank it likely means death for the SI.  When I got puke bombed as a tank it was disorienting and limited my ability to track survivors for a bit, but it was more an annoyance than an actual hinderance.  I just fell back like usual til it wore off.

P.S. It just pisses the witch off.  I haven't noticed a single time when bile bombing a witch helped at all.  She outruns the CI and she dosn't seem to have any trouble finding you.

I got a witch with it in the demo, she Flipped the fuck out and started crying and Legging it.

She got owned by the commons in short order though.

Staying close to the stage is a good idea overall, because the helicopter that lands to rescue you can land either to the left or right of it. It landed on the left for us the first time and then we wiped, so the second play we holed up there... and it promptly landed on the other side of the stadium. Hurm.

We did get the Gnome achievement, though! There's a shooting game in the 2nd stage (I think?) where you have to score 750+ points to unlock the box he's in, and then just carry him all the way to the helicopter. The 'Faster Than Mustachio' one is playing the whackamole game until it breaks, hitting all the little dudes. This one unlocks for everyone in the game. The 'Stronger than Mustachio' is the strength-bell-hit-thing. You have to melee the end of the lever whilst using Adrenalin, and this one unlocks only for the player who hit it.

Well that was awsome, i played for a few hours and the game is better in every way.

So I just played Dead Center or whatever the 1st one with the hotel is. Fun stuff.

I still love the "# zombies were harmed in the making of this film" bit at the end.

Filling up the car at the end was pretty cool. The whole "Get the coke and I'll blow this truck up for you" was not. Though it was fun.
