No, my friend had us skip that chapter because he said it sucked.
We did every other one though.
The carnival was really lame, lol we can't jump this little waist high gate, we have to do a creshendo event! It was just plain not fun.
And ellis's tunnle of love story was just not even funny. The only level I liked in the second was the last level.

I've had more fun with Hard Rain on Realism than any of the other campaigns, in either game.

Err... Both games had "stereotypical" characters, both were arcade zombie shooters, and you played neither for the dialog, and yet L4D2 sucks.

What makes the character so racist, the chainsaw so stupid, and the new weapons so much more preferable?

The game is really whatever you make out of it, and it sounds like you're making a pinata out of L4D2 because it was made after L4D1.

It's not because it was after l4d1, I would have still liked l4d more than l4d2 even if l4d2 was released first.

I also only liked the first one. I bought both but never really got into the second one. I have no real explanation for my dislike as it was a well produced game and similar to the first, but the gameplay surely changed and I just couldn't groove on it. I've played about 5 hours of it and never once had fun with it. I've played the first one for 30+ hours and almost always had fun.

5 Hours isn't a lot to go by... but then, coming from a person who has logged +20 with L4D2 and +100 with L4D1.  (Well, I do pop in L4D1 over L4D2 these days if that is any indication.)

Nice comic. And I think I would say that even if I hadn't played the game yet. And then it would get me super pumped about the game.


In other news, I noticed that the non-discounted price for Left 4 Dead 2 is now 20$/€, which is pretty damn low. If they put a discount on when Sacrifice hits (as they probably will), it'll be absolutely, ridiculously, unavoidably low.

Like I previously predicted ^^, the prices for L4D1 and 2, are down to 6,79$/€, which is just insane.

Also, The Sacrifice is out! For L4D1 and 2. Loading might take while, with the Steam servers trying to handle the enormous pressure, but when it's done, it should be really good.

No, seriously, it's a lot more fun with newbies because they don't know every corner of every map.  Even Cooperative is SO much more fun when you're still figuring it out.  Rushing is boring.
