I believe the Demo will be removed from service when the game is released, the Original's demo was at least.

Also, TF2 was $2.50 for a while last week, you should have got it then.

Less nitpickily speaking, for those that don't think L4D2 to be worth 45 or 50 dollars, I'm quite sure Valve'll put it on a significant sale on Christmas to make it the hit of the year.

Yeah, but having it in three 2-hour whiles, one had to be quite closely following the TF2 community to make use of them.

Oh that's good.  I personally wasn't affected, but I totally agreed that it was bullshit a game on steam would cost the same number of pounds that it did dollars before... Or was that only for Euros?  I know there was a time when people were complaining about their currency not exchanging on Steam.

I've got HL2 + Counterstrike for 2$ in a shop when it was more expensive via steam, so it's pretty possible.

Ok... I've tried the demo... This is awesome...

It's really impressive how I felt I was inside a zombie movie.... all those zombies running, climbing and coming towards me... The sounds!! ahh...

I never actually played the original L4d...

I thought I couldn't after I a demo wouldn't run on my pc due to not having a higher res than 1024... But it turns out there is a command for it, hehe

The game is out, but decrypting. After about a one hour delay due to a showstopping bug poping up at the last minute, and plenty of screaming an' stuff on the official forums. If it doesn't work, restart steam.
