That's a known bug, I forget exactly what it's related to though.  At any rate it's probably already gone from the full version.

But be happy, some people have that freeze lasting for almost a minute at a time.

As for playing the SI, for some reason whenever I'm playing jockey I always think I'm playing spitter for a second.  It just seems weird how your POV is so high above the ground when yer this little evil leprechaun.

It is fun taking off with a survivor right after a boomer attack though. "Where the hell did <insert name here> go?"  Right before their aura vision fades back in and I'm halfway to the park with their buddy.

I'm going to be pre-ordering this game.  I don't know, I find the demo really enjoyable and fun so why not.  Gotta play Coach though, my man.  I don't understand the love for Ellis, he's just a hick, but whatever.  I'd say the funniest part about this game is the challenge.  NEVER PLAY ON ANYTHING EXCEPT EXPERT.  I played easy, didn't even get hurt.  Medium, I get hurt a little.  Advanced, maybe one guy gets knocked over.  Expert?  That's fun shit there.  I had a nice run with Deon, Itnetlolor, and some other guy I don't know.  We took about five, six tries to beat the first level and we couldn't get past the garden park in the second level.  I don't know, I just love when you actually feel like you've earned that win.  This is why I can't understand why people play on easy mode, it's no fun.  Why sure, you beat the damn game, but it ain't fun.  I plan on playing as infected with Itnetlolor today.  There is some thing where you can play as infected in the demo, pretty cool man.

Try shutting off Multicore rendering. Lots of people have been having that problem.

Yeah, you really do need to play on expert. That and Meele weapons really need a nerf. My Friends and I managed to get through Advanced with only 3 knockdowns only using frying pans.

Doesn't matter, the game still defaults to multicore rendering.  I thought that was a bit silly.


Y'know, for all his faults...   I really just can't help but love the Jockey.  He's just s'damn cute with that cackling of his.

Also, it seems that people move fastest if you're pulling them backwards.  Try and mix it up a little with your pulling direction to get the maximum effect from your ride.

And yes, it's loads of fun to pick off that one straggler while his buddies are in the next area.  If they even notice he's been pounced on, they have to run back quite a distance in order to get him.  Haha, I really shouldn't get so much pleasure out of playing infected style...  Where it doesn't matter so much that you kill them, just that you slow them down and make life inconvenient.


Also, Umiman was kind enough to introduce me to the console commands needed to tweak max infected limits and turn up the heat with crescendo attacks.  I actually ended up doing that on easy, so each infected had lower health and not be quite so overpowering against the AI.  Man, that was fun stuff.  A *real* horde.

Constant panic events, with short, SHORT breaks are always good.

I'm planning a map for L4D2 by the way, as all my other ones were lost when i re-OS'd my PC.

There will be a bank vault.

I hope the new video card arrives at the same time as the game unlocks, for maximum winnage. Liking the sounds if Realism mode more and more..
