I seem to recall Martin Random having been outed as a total liar at some point.

That was... weird as hell...
I'll now have to carefully screen any roomies once I go to college.

sadly the end was so anti-climatic

this dungeon needed some death-traps and a boss-fight

I'm sure the spores were a death-trap of themselves.
The boss fight was the final odor that literally hit him in the face.

My only concern about such a comparison is the idea of what the heck the loot is.

It was rebalancing the accounts of things. He was to be reimbursed for the rent or something.

Appropriately enough, I'm calling bullshit.

Mainly because he never explains why the hell he didn't call the landlord, despite posting a couple quotes from people asking exactly this.

Also, he mentions at one point that he could have easily beaten the guy up but that's just not how he rolls.  The only time anyone feels the need to say this is when it isn't true, and in light of the general outlandishness of the rest, I'm not buying it.

who cares if it is bullshit ?
it is pure comedy gold, and very well written.
it's just like argueing in the cinema about how unrealistic the movie it
no one appreciates it
