If this all doesn't fix it, your dwarfs are lazy. Apply magma.

Try rubbing a cat on it, that seems to help.

The lack of exports?

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

The lack of exports?

Wow, I thought it would take longer than that.

/gives Skorpion a cookie.

But, I just noticed another thing thats a little weird so it can continue.  One more cookie ready for grabs.

Population of 125 with 1 noble.

Unless that's intentional design.

No fishery workers.
Nope.  I drafted them since I don't need them.

Nope, not intentional.  Just haven't gotten any nobles besides the DM.

Fishing? pfft - zero looks like the perfect number to me.

The nobles thing is a good bet.

(and I dunno, that "30" jumped out at me right away too!)

There are several things that are odd, and certainly not the way I'd want my fortress to look, but nothing really "off" besides those two.

19 farmers seems like a lot.  7 trained animals is pretty low unless they all got wiped out recently. No meat with what looks like an animal husbandry program (96 "others") - meh.

125 dwarves and no elite military? That seems behind the curve too.

The totals of the food add up - it's on lowest accuracy - something just over 1500 plant plus something around 600 booze does not total over 2500 (= "3000?").

Maybe it's the combination of the 30 export and 125 dwarfs - how did you get that many immigrants?  Meh - there are explanations for that.

The fact that a fortress of 125 has BookKeeping on Lowest Accuracy would worry me most.

Could it be the value of weapons/armor with so few soldiers?

Uhh, is it that you have an exact number for imported wealth but everything else is inaccurate?

And it looks like this is a reclaim party, with maybe a lot of quick shacking up and at least one migrant wave to explain the children.

The value of held / worn clothes is rather low...  Works out to 63 per Dwarf.

So it's either all low quality clothes, or you have some nude Dwarves running around.

(96 "others") - meh.
That's what I saw, but it looks like you guys found more out of place stuff than I did. Four game years and I just now built a butchery.  I'm surprised my dwarves haven't gotten completely tired of plump helmets and mutinied.

/gives a cookie to Albedo

As for the military, I've been getting bum-rushed by goblins so I've had my military on duty the whole time.  A few minutes after I posted the images though, a few became elite and even legendary champions.

As for the children, I can't explain that.  Just a lot of dwarves bumping uglies in their rooms i guess.

They are all still wearing the clothes they wore at the beginning.  I haven't bothered to start up the cloth industry yet.

Those were the ones I saw, but I'm finding it fun having you pick this image apart, so cookies to all that find more!

/leaves the cookie jar and runs away.

What is odd to me is only about 30 prepared meals. But some people might not find that odd.
